14 December 2021

Dustin Halse today announced local recipients of the Andrews Labor Government’s 2021/22 Multicultural Festivals and Events (MFE) Program.

The Multicultural Festivals and Events (MFE) Program funds multicultural and multifaith community organisations to hold cultural festivals and events for their local communities.

Chiquitines Cultural Workshop Inc will receive $13,600 for the Ventana Fiesta 2022 and Melbourne Chapter of
Vedanta Centre of Sydney will received $2,200 for Birthday of Sri Ramakrishna 2022.

The pandemic has shown just how important community is, and Victoria’s multicultural festivals such as Ventana Fiesta 2022 and Birthday of Sri Ramakrishna 2022 offer a great opportunity for people to reconnect after a challenging 20 months.
